Hi, I’m Glen Fullerton — a project and change management leader with a lifelong passion for projects.

For more than 30 years, I’ve led initiatives across industries, starting—quite unexpectedly—by managing a Department of Defense project while serving in the U.S. Air Force. That experience sparked an enduring fascination with the art and science of project delivery, and I’ve spent the rest of my career pursuing it with curiosity and commitment.

Over the years, I’ve led:

  • Aerospace engineering change and development projects
  • ERP implementations and ISO 9001 certifications
  • Enterprise Organizational Change Management (Lean Six Sigma, VoC, )
  • ERP, CRM, CDP implementations
  • Product development and digital transformation efforts
  • Software development and Testing (SDLC, STLC)
  • IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data center migrations
  • Reidential Construction, remodel projects
  • And more than a few projects that ran across more than one category and defy discription brevity

I’ve also developed and delivered best practices training in project and program management to over 600 professionals from around the world. Along the way, I earned my PMP, became certified as a Scrum Master and Product Owner, and completed more than 450 hours of professional development across a wide range of project-related domains. My background in supply chain and supplier management led me to obtain a CPIM certification as well. While I have not tested for certifications, I have completed dozens of courses in areas of specialty like Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Risk Management, Scheduling, Network Engineering, Security, and various coding languages and methodologies.

Along the way I have obtained a BBA, Marketing and a MSc, Human Resource Management, and oddly enough, never worked directly in either area, though the knowledge was certainly transferable.

I’ve come to realize that I may never lead every type of project—there are simply too many evolving specialties—but I have gained something even more valuable: a deep appreciation for the shared skills, mindset, and team collaboration that underpin successful outcomes in any field.

This blog, For the Love of Projects, is my way of giving back. It’s a place to reflect, to share insights, and to connect with others who believe in the transformative power of great projects and great teams.

I hope you find something useful here—and I look forward to hearing your thoughts in the comments.
